								There is a common assumption regarding Shari’ah investment funds – that they generally underperform non-Shari’ah investment funds. While this may arguably hold some truth, I would like to suggest that, as a Shari’ah investor, one need not simply accept sub-par investment returns.

Interestingly, Shari’ah investment funds are not only for Muslim investors but for anyone who would like to invest in an ethical and socially responsible manner. While this may compromise investment returns, there are certainly strategies that can be used to ensure that a Shari’ah-compliant investment portfolio has been optimised and appropriately diversified to enhance investment returns.

In this video, I share a brief overview of Shari’ah investment funds as well as some strategies to consider when structuring a Shari’ah-compliant investment portfolio.
